But, there was a problem! Birthday cakes cost $20 and Mario only had 1/5 of the cost.

What can I do to make extra money so that I can buy Mama a cake?

Mario struggled to fall asleep that night. All he could think about was how he was going to earn the remaining amount of money for the cake.
The next day, Mario decided to go down to the music theater to ask if there was anything he could do to make some money.

"Hey, Mr. Cole. I'm looking to earn money to buy my mother a cake for her birthday, do you have anything I can do?" asked Mario.
"Hey, Mario! You are in luck! I need someone to play the drums for a group of students visiting today." said Mr. Cole.
Mario was excited. So excited that he almost forgot how much the job paid.
"Hey Mr. Cole, how much does playing the drums pay?" asked Mario.
"The job pays 2/4 of $20 Mario" said Mr. Cole.
