Christianity originated from Judea, which is now the present day Middle East. Its roots started after the Holy Messiah: Jesus, died and was resurrected. His followers kept up his teachings, and went on to spread the word. Christianity is a well known practice around the world today. Almost every single country has people who practice this religion.

Some major beliefs of Christians are:
-Jesus was sent to save us from our sins
-Jesus died on the cross, was gone for 3 days, then was resurrected from the tomb
-If you believe this you will have eternal life in Heaven
-Have a close connection with God (Prayer)
-Love thy neighbor and love thy enemy
-Forgiveness
And their place of worship is called a Church.
