Once upon a time, there was a lonely princess named Penelope.  Penelope lived in a beautiful castle all alone.   Penelope was very sad.

Although Penelope had all the money in the world, all the food she could eat, and the nicest castle in the land, she was still very sad.

Penelope began to wonder...if she had all the money, food, and things she could want, how could she still be so lonely?

Penelope soon began to realize, she wanted a friend.  She was sad because she was lonely.  "I would give up all my riches just to have a single friend in this lonely world," she shouted.  "Please give me a friend so I will no longer be lonely."

Suddenly, a small pink pig fell from the sky right next to Penelope!  Suddenly, Penelope no longer felt lonely because she finally had a friend, pig.

Suddenly, all of Penelope's riches were gone.  She and Pig were banished to a big beautiful forest with lots of beautiful flowers.  They followed the trail of flowers.

The flowers led Penelope and the Pig to a beautiful cottage shaped like a mushroom where would live and grow a beautiful garden.  All they needed was their friendship!
