Peter the Great came into rule between 1682-1725. Russia had a proper economy and access to many parts of the world for trade. Their military was thriving as the navy was soon created by Peter the Great himself. Russia had a proper education, thanks to Peter, covering many different occupations and topics. He made many great deeds and choices in order for Russia to be the best it can be!

Meet my family!

Hello, my name is Peter the Great, and I WAS the ruler of Russia! I am going to tell you my story on how I made Russia a better place! But first, you need to meet my family. I am currently married to Catherine l, who is the love of my life! We have decided to have 12 kids in which we love very much! We would do anything for each other to keep us all happy and safe! But sadly, some of my kids have passed away due to medical problems, I wish they would have lived to this day to see how beautiful this world is!

How can I help Russia's geography problem?

My goal is to make Russia a better place! When I came into rule, everything about Russia was problematic! In order to fix this, I need to work hard by fixing Russia's major issues. The first issue I need to fix Russia's geography! I will need to turn Russia into a European power! I will do this by making changes to Russia's culture, trade, and more! I will also need to move the capital to a place called St. Petersburg for the place of government and a reason for the growth of trade!

Phew, now the ruler is officially the highest power of Russia!!

Now that Russia's geography issues are taken care of, now we've got to worry about Russia's social structure. When you've got to rule a country, the country's society needs to be organized, so that is what I'm going to focus on next! You got to have some sort of social structure that is based on importance. So I have got to rank different jobs from most important to least important!

When I came into rule, Russia was VERY culturally backwards. My job is to make Russia a place of freedom and joy! That means I have to fix Russia's culture problem. There is only one church that is called the Orthodox Church, it is ruled by a head priest. I do not want that, so I will build multiple churches in order for Russia to find a religion to follow! I will also leave the churches' control and rule up to the people, in order for Russia to be a place of freedom!

One of my main goals as a ruler was to build on Russia's military. I believe there was some room for improvement to fight battles and wars! In order to do this, I will need to build a part of the military for the sea. I will name it the Navy! This will Double the amount of soldiers I have in order to make our military stronger! This way I will be able to defeat Sweden with the help of my new creation!

Trade is one of the most important things for economic growth. So I will not let my people down! By defeating enemies in many past battles of mine, I get closer to claiming parts of land by the coast and ocean! Moving Russia's capital to St. Petersburg has helped me activate areas for trade because it's by the Sea! Now I need to put central trade centers around Russia in order to get resources and goodies from all over the world!
