“We all have a responsibility to protect endangered species, both for their sake and for the sake of our own future generations.”
– Loretta Lynch, the former United States Attorney General.

Hello ! My name is Enola , I am a brown and round Saola .

I live in the Annamite Mountains of Vietnam and Laos . There aren't many
of my kind around .
Bad guys called Poachers hunt my kind until there is none of us left . My uncle , Scruell the Bull took me in , he is the best !

Scruell shows me how to survive . He taught me to jump , fight and hide .

Uncle Scruell the bull says to me " Go gather our favorite berries the red cherries ! "

I follow the dirt path to the river . On my way , I find my friend Abbott , the Annamite striped rabbit .

" Where are you going ? " says Abbott . " I'm gathering the red cherries . " I reply . " You must let me help you find those berries , my ally. "

We walk upright not a cherry
in sight , until Abbott turns
his head around to find a
pile of red cherries on the ground .
