I dedicate this book to my family for encouraging me to write this story

Once upon a time there was a boy named Mike. One day when Mike woke up he saw that he was not in his own house. He was sitting on a ripped up bed. The posters that hung from his bedroom walls turned into a portrait of a bread shaped monster and a picture of a moldy cheese. Mike was in a haunted house of food!

There was something weird about those pictures on the wall and after staring at them long enough Mike figured it out. The pictures where alive! The bread monster winked at him and then jumped out of the painting. He had sharp fangs, arms, legs and a creepy looking head sticking out of a giant bread stick. 

Mike was horrified. "Sorry to scare you little boy." The monster said kindly. Mike was confused. " See me and Mr. stinky cheese here are friendly." The monster continued. "But make sure the owner of this place doesn't see you." "Who is the owner of this  place?" Mike asked. "The vampire of all food." The monster replied. 

"So if this place is guarded by a vampire, then how do I get out of here?" Mike said in fear. "Well you can start of by drinking this potion."  the monster said. "Then you will shrink and you can run out that mouse sized door to the yard." So Mike took the potion and drank it. "YUCK! What's in this potion?" Mike asked. "I don't know, just drink it?" The monster answered.

So mike drank the rest and shrunk down to the size of a grape. “Good now sneak out that mouse sized door." The monster said while pointing to a tiny door in the wall. So Mike opened the tiny door and crept out. When he was in the yard, to his surprise the vampire of all food was right there!

 Mike was scared even if he was small, the vampire of all food had very good eyesight and could still see Mike. The vampire turned into a bat and flew up, until Mike couldn’t see him anymore. “Well that was close." Mike said in relief. “Not quite." The vampire said, who then swooped down and grabbed Mike by the chest. “Gotcha!" The vampire said. Mike was in big trouble now.

The vampire took mike back inside and put him in a small metal cage.“I need to get out of this mansion.” Mike said when he saw the keys dangling from a hook over the vampires desk“How do I get those keys?”Mike asked himself. “I need to find a way out” ,he thought. He looked around the whole cage and finally found a way out the top, the vampire forgot to lock the top!  

 It was still a little hard opening the top since he was so small, but Mike managed. He climbed out of the cage and hid as he waited for the vampire to leave the room. When the vampire left Mike climbed onto the desk and grabbed the keys. They were pretty heavy since Mike was so small, but he was still able to walk with them, he was just about to leave when he saw a note that said “big again potion”. “I really need that potion”. Mike said to himself so he took the instructions and walked into the hallway.

     Big Again Potion

What you need: 1 rotten apple, 2 moldy mushrooms And 3 gooey banana peels, pot, sharp object, spoon

instructions

1. Chop rotten apple and put the apple slices in the pot.

2. Cut mushrooms and also put in the pot.

3. Put banana peels in the pot.

4. Mix together the ingredients.

5. Drink potion to be big again
