I live in Burma, which is in Asia. Life in Burma is a lot 

of fun. There is so much to do. You can climb trees, 

swim in the water, or just play outside with your 

friends.

There are so many trees that you can climb. 

Everyone likes to climb trees.

Climbing high in a tree is a great place to hide while 

looking for birds. 

My family is very happy when I can find birds for our

lunch.

My house is big so all of my family can be 

together.

My grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, and 

all my sisters and brothers live together. I love my 

family.

It is so much fun to play in my house. We can 

hear the water under our house at night.

I am so lucky to grow up in Burma!

Fishing is fun! Not only is it fun, but it is very 

important.

We eat fish at almost every meal. Fish and rice 

are favorite foods for me.

We do have stores to buy fish, but it costs too 

much money for my family. I like to catch my own 

fish anyway.

Some people sell fish to make money at the 

markets. That is a fun but hard job.

Rice is what everyone in Burma loves to eat.

We also have to work hard to have rice for our 

family.

Some families grow their own rice at home, or 

they work at a rice farm.

It is hard work but so yummy to eat!
