Mr. Piper was getting ready for his craft show, when he realized that his dog ate all of his cookies that he was going to sell!

He only had a few hours before the craft show started. 

Instead of panicking, he went straight to the store to pick up all of the ingredients he needed to make his famous cookies.

He first stopped to grab himself some eggs. He had seven eggs at home and needed a total of ten eggs. How many more did Mr. Piper need? Three!

So he bought himself three more eggs to make some more of his delicious cookies. He was happy as a child opening presents on Christmas day.

Then, he went over to grab himself one bag of flour. He had zero bags at home and needed one. How many did he need to buy? One! 

He grabbed himself one bag of flour and moved on to the next item. He was running like a marathon runner.

He then needed to grab four bags of sugar for all of the cookies that he needed to make for his craft show. He had two at home. How many more did he need? Two!

He bought all of the ingredients and quickly rushed home to bake all of his cookies.
