This book is dedicated to my mom, the person who taught me how to read and write.

When I look in the mirror what do I see?
A beautiful girl in front of me,
She is excellent in every way
Her hair, her lips, what can I say?
She would not change, not for a day.
She is fearless and fantastic, a style fanatic
She walks with power in each step
Never knowing what comes next,
She has her head held high
Cause she can touch the sky.
Her smile shines like the sun
Because of victories she has won
A warrior among many
The battle is not done
Till she says, "I am wonderful me."
And her brilliance blazing bright
A glowing candle in the night
No knowledge can escape her sight
Learn to fear her brain's might.
You can bark and you can bite
But you can never break me down
You can yell and you can scream
But I don't hear a sound
Do you know why?
Because I know
I am beautiful, incredible, capable
I am me.
Wonderfully.
Wonderfully Me
Books are beautiful things.
Heroes and villains in a world filled with ink,
A battle ship were they could sink.
A world where the words leap of the page,
Standing there is a wise old sage.
A story told as old as time
Even to the simplest nursery rhymes,
Our mother's words dance in our heads
As we settle into our beds.
Those stories stay with us all of our lives.
Pictures of landscapes and elaborate schemes,
Frolic about in a little girl's dreams
Scheherazade's stories, 1000 nights old
To save her life, the stories she told.
Shakespeare's stories for young and old
That tamed "The Shrew" with temper bold
Each story ignites magical spark that
Always finds it's way into your heart,.
