Back when I was a teeny-tiny little kitty, it was a normal day at the animal shelter- or so I thought.
After feeding time, I settled down for a nap and slept. When I woke up, a young girl was staring into my cage!
The big man I had known since birth started talking to the girl. He talked, she nodded. That’s how it went. Then he said something in a more serious tone. This time, the girl gasped with horror and ran toward me protectively. Then he said something else. She nodded, and before I knew it, I was leaving my first home.
When we arrived at this big place with a door just my size, we stopped and went in. In was wonderful. It was warm, safe, and best of all, standing next to a bigger woman, was my very own sister!
