Albert was a very nice mountain gorilla who spent most of his days wondering around with his friends eating plants.

One day, Albert and his friend, Ricky, went on a stroll through the forrest. On that stroll, they found a mean man that was looking for gorillas like them.

Albert ran home to his dad and asked him who that man was. His dad explained that that man was a poacher. He is somebody that hunts gorillas like them. Albert's dad explained to him that the poachers have reduced the size of their village to only 1,000 gorillas.

This made Albert really sad. He was scared to leave his house in the forrest and did not want to have another scary encounter with a poacher ever again.
One day while sitting at home, Albert noticed a group of people protecting the gorillas in his village from poachers. Albert did not know who these people were but, Albert knew that they were nice people.

Albert no longer felt scared to leave his house anymore! Thanks to the people of the Gorilla Rescue Center, Albert finally felt safe!
