Photosynthesis.

Plants make their own food like this. 

Sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide is all it needs. 

The chloroplast is where all the magic begins, what is a chloroplast you might ask? Chloroplast are only in plant cells, they use photosynthesis to make ATP which is energy for the cell.

For photosynthesis to happen, plants need carbon dioxide, water and light. The outcome of these is glucose and oxygen, interesting right?

ATP is the energy, since it all comes from the sun you could call it complementary, from photosynthesis, cellular respiration, all the way to fermentation.

ATP is the form of energy your body cells use to do their work! The mitochondria uses a process called cellular respiration to make energy. 

You may wonder, what is cellular respiration?

Taking Oxygen to change into carbon dioxide is all it is. Opposite from photosynthesis is all you might hear.

Remember, without no oxygen it will not succeed. The goal is here, energy into food to ATP for cell work is all it really is.

Fermentation, let's go with this : It all starts with glycolysis but two paths from that do exist, but we don't have oxygen so fermentation it is!
