Introduction

These days, there are few teenagers, students and in principle people who are interested in the achievements of another person. But there are those who admire such people.

I can relate myself to such a category of people who admire other people's achievements. Watching people who have achieved something, my mood immediately rises, I am very happy at those moments for people who entered the history of a person as the creators of something new or simply as people who did something that is very surprising and positively affects our life

In my first book, I want to talk about an African American woman who went down in human history as an inventor of amazing things.

What is this book about?

Katherine Johnson

Katherine Johnson was born in 1918.

The school where the girl went did not teach black children after the 8th grade, so her parents sent her to finish her studies in another district, almost 200 kilometers from home.

From early childhood, Johnson had a special interest in mathematics. After graduating from high school at age 14, Johnson entered an African-American college, where she studied mathematics and other sciences - Johnson became the first African-American girl to graduate from this educational institution. She took every math course the college offered, and some were even made specifically for her.
