This is a story of global warming!!!
By: Yen Khong - Ha Vy - Trang Vu - Huong Ly

One of the biggest problems facing humans nowadays is global warming. It is mainly man-made and it can pose a serious threat to people's lives and climatic patterns of the earth.
What is global warming ?

That is the phenomenon of a gradual increase in the temperature near the earth’s surface.

The main driver of climate change is the greenhouse effect.
Some gasses in the Earth's atmosphere act a bit like the glass in a greenhouse, trapping the sun's heat and stopping it from leaking back into space and causing global warming.
Many of these greenhouse gasses occur naturally, but human activities are increasing the concentrations of some of them in the atmosphere in particular: carbon dioxide, methane or water vapour...
The matter also can be attributed to deforestation.
Humans clear vast areas of vegetation around the world for farming, urban and infrastructure development
Another factor of this problem is oil and gas from the industries. It is used the most in vehicles, buildings, production and to produce electricity.
Global warming has serious consequences. It leads to heat-related illnesses and death, and spread of infectious diseases.
The melting of polar ice caps and rising sea levels is also indeed problematic.
