Kiki and Viktoria are next in line to help the desert for the HRC (Habitat Rescue Center),

“And what biome would you like to rescue?” The ticket attendant asked.

“Desert please!” Viktoria and Kiki said in unison.

“Sand desert or Snow desert?” said the ticket attendant.

“Huh?” said Kiki and Viktoria.

“Yes, there are sand deserts, and snow deserts! Some are made of snow, not sand, and are obviously cold!” said the ticket attendant.

“Wow that's cool, but we would like the sand desert!” said Viktoria and Kiki.

“Here you go!” said the ticket attendant.

Zhongli arrived and discussed what they were going to do, and how we should protect ourselves. They also discussed safety protocols and emergency procedures.

“Be careful before you go out,” Zhongli said, “The sand is on fire!”

“No worries, I have heat protective shoes!” said Kiki.

But, Viktoria sure didn’t. She decided not to say anything because she didn’t want to cause trouble. She would regret that later. As they were driving, they talked a bit since it was a million miles away.

Chapter 1

“Oh my!” Kiki exclaimed, “How is it so hot already?”

“What should we do?” Viktoria asked nervously.

“I don’t know, but we should probably report back.” Replied Zhongli.

They couldn’t find any signal so they decided to start going back.

As they were driving back, they realized that they had been driving the wrong way this whole time!

“What are we going to do!” Screamed Kiki. “This desert hates us!”

“We must stay calm.” Said Zhongli calmly as Viktoria and Kiki both scream their lungs out.

“The temperature is as hot as The Lut Desert in Iran!” Screamed Viktoria.

“ What?” Kiki said, confused.

“The Lut Desert in Iran is the hottest desert in the world!” Said Zhongli.

“That's cool but we are also out of gas and we are stuck in the middle of a desert!” Said Kiki.

They check their supplies and they have almost nothing!

Chapter 2

“ GREAT! WE HAVE NO SUPPLIES AND WE ARE LOST IN A DESERT HOTTER THAN THE SUN!” Screamed Kiki.

“It's going to be fine!” Said Viktoria.

But they look over to see a child banging on their window!

“Help!” Yells the unknown child.

They let the child in until the child says that there is danger!

“There is danger!” Says the child.

“What danger?” Says Viktoria.

“I don’t know, but it's scary! And my mommy says that most scary things mean danger!” Says the child.

“Well where is your mommy?” Says Kiki.

“Ummm, oh she is right there, thank you kind people!” Says the child.

They let the child go but they could only think about, what danger?

They all think that everything couldn’t get any worse but out of the blue…

Some lions started to charge at them! They ran and ran, and they had to hide in their little car that they used to drive around until it ran out of gas. They could hear the lions chomping on the car.

“I feel like I am going to explode!” Said Viktoria.

The lions started to puncture the car and made holes enough for their paws to claw through.

“I hope my company has car insurance!” Said Zhongli.

“Is that really your biggest concern?” Said Kiki.

“The car costs a lot of money!” Said Zhongli.

“AHHH LIONS RUN!” Everyone screamed, as the lions broke the car.

Unfortunately, the lions catched up quickly, they can charge at speeds of 80 km/h!

They hid in a little cave until the lions walked away, and they eventually did. And they came back again. They wondered why, but it turns out, Viktoria had a bleeding cut and the lions could smell it!

“Why didn’t you tell us,” Argued Kiki, “Here, cover your cut with this towel and we can retreat.”
