Rachael was in her cabin with her best friend Harper where she was studying. She is eighteen and has blond hair and blue eyes. She was visiting the taiga to write a report for school. Harper has brown hair and green eyes. The taiga is a cold place with Conifers. They have needles instead of leaves! While she was writing she said, 

“I wonder if anything exciting is going to happen? All I see is mountains and conifers” 

 Then Harper replied “well we could go snowboarding”. Then suddenly she heard a crash as loud as a giant’s footsteps.

“OMG” said Harper “did you just hear that big crash?”

 “ I think so” replied Rachael “we should go investigate” 

“Ok I’ll get the mooses” said Harper

“I’ll get the coats," said Rachael "The highest temperature is only 77F and it’s the middle of winter!” 

As they rode through the taiga Rachael spotted the biggest boulders in the world. 

Then Rachael said “Come on Harper Look at those huge rocks”

“Wow they are huge I think they just fell from that mountain” replied Harper

Then suddenly Rachael yelled “ROCK SLIDE!!! We need to get out of here”

So they rode through the mountains to safety. 

Then a little while later they heard a little little roar.

“Harper, Harper” said Rachael “did you hear that small roar?’

“Um maybe”replied Harper

“Well come on I think the sound is coming from over there” said Rachael 

As the sound got louder and louder they noticed it was coming from some boulders.

“Rachael,” said Harper, “I think the sound is coming from under those rocks!” 

“Lets lift them to find out” replied Rachael

As they lifted and lifted they saw a baby tiger with bright orange stripes under the rocks! 

“OMG” squealed Harper.

The tiger's eyes were sparkling like diamonds.,

“I Wonder if we can keep it?”said Rachael

Just as she said that the tiger leaped out of Harper's Hand towards the taiga, the biggest land biome on earth.

“Well that's your answer” replied Harper “I wonder if we’ll save any other animals?”
