To Ms.Zimmerman and my amazing FIFTH grade class!

Zoya and her brother Chase both love nature and are planning a trip to an exotic cave in a rainforest! Because the siblings are off of college for the summer this is the perfect opportunity to go on a trip they’ve been waiting to go on since they were 8. Can you guess where they are going?
They’re going to the world's largest cave located in Vietnam, The Hang Son Doong Cave!!!
They begin packing, basically ripping apart their whole closet, by the time they had finished packing, their suitcases weighed a ton. They are flying from New Jersey which is 23 hr flight and their plane is just about to leave when Zoya calls, “Hurry up, you’re walking as slow as a turtle” to Chase.
“No I’m not, you're walking as fast as a cheetah!” yelled Chase.
They hustled to the plane just on time and enjoyed a relaxing journey to Vietnam on a 1st class flight.

After reaching the hotel the siblings took a little trolley up to explore the rainforest floor where they heard the chatter of the monkeys and saw aquatic animals splashing around in tiny puddles of water and saw deers waving hello. When they reached the forest floor Chase saw a familiar creature , which he could swear he was just staring at on his computer screen back at home, and that's when it clicked to him, that he is staring at the Mombacho salamander.
“I have been reading about these insane creatures for a while and you could never guess that the Mombacho Salamander is the rarest salamander in the world!” exclaims Chase.
While they were edging closer to the salamander like cautious foxes, they didn't realize a steep drop right next to them in which they slid into while yelling,“Ahh.” When they finally land with a loud thump, they both asked “Where are we?” in unison and that's when they noticed some people along with a tour guide walking down a pair of stairs and they realized that they’ve slid down into the Hang Son Doong cave.
“Shh, no one can know that we’re here because, well, technically we're trespassing because there’s a rule that we can’t come down here without a tour guide,” said Zoya, “We’ve just got to find a way out of here….somehow.” Zoya said hesitantly.
While trying to stay out of the tourists' sight the siblings find a secluded corner of the cave where they both stared up at the sky trying to think about possible ways to solve this problem, Chase notices a slight movement at the corner of his eye and then pounces up lightning quick and screams horror, “Ahh, re-tic-u-la-ted py-thon-ssss.”
“What did you just say?” asked Zoya, “I'm in deep concentration here as you can see.”
“Get up quickly there are snakes edging near us,” whispers Chase, making sure he doesn’t make the snakes angry. “Reticulated pythons are the longest snakes in the world and common in Asian countries. Oh and also, a group of snakes are called a snake den or pit.” mumbles Chase.
“Definitely not the time for your facts Chase,” says Zoya rolling her eyes.
“Ok, ok but they're flickering out their tongues and oh I think we’re going to die,” screams Chase in absolute horror .
