Once upon a time, there was a city called Sunny City. It was a popular place to live and many people loved it. In the summer, a group of friends liked to play by the water at the beach. One day, they noticed that it was getting hotter and hotter. They felt like something was not right.

One day, some friends in Sunny City noticed that it was getting too hot in their town. They decided to look up why it was so hot lately and were surprised by what they found. They learned that they were living in something called a Heat Island! They looked up more information and were scared by what they read. A Heat Island is a city that is hotter than the areas around it, which is not good at all.

So, the friends wanted to know how they could stop Heat Island from happening in their city. They searched for ideas and found that they could use cool pavements, cool roofs, lighter colors, and planting more trees and plants. They decided to create a city park, but didn't know how to get started. They worked together as a team and asked more people to help. Finally, they figured out what to do and began working on their plan.
