Hello, I'm a compass. I'm important to use when learning about maps because I tell directions. This is a map of the world!

We are going to be traveling the world to each continent and ocean. There are 7 continents and 5 oceans! We will get to know each one! Come on, let's go!

Our first stop is Asia. Asia is the largest continent with the largest population of people! In Asia, there are the countries India and China. This is my friend Panda! You can find pandas in Asia. Let's keep going!

The next stop is Africa. Africa is the 2nd largest continent and has the countries Egypt and South Africa! Here live elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes. 

Now we are in North America. North America has the countries Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

South of North America is South America. Here there is Brazil and Argentina. Also in South America is the Amazon Rainforest. But watch out, there is an anaconda! They are the largest snakes in the world!

I hope you brought your jacket because now we are in Antarctica. No one lives here all year round, only visitors. There is snow and ice here all year!
