Seahorse. The seahorse had a son named Sammy the Seahorse.
Sammy and his mommy loved each other very much. Whenever
Sammy got a boo boo playing with the other seahorses, Mommy
Seahorse would always be there to kiss it.
They lived near a beautiful coral reef that was flourishing with life.
Everyday, Sammy and his mommy would swim out to the coral
reef and play together.
They played on sunny days, happy days, long days,
warm days, cold days, and even rainy days!
Sammy loved playing with Mommy Seahorse and would look
forward to swimming out to the coral reef every day.

Sammy sat down in the sand and waited for Mommy Seahorse
to come.
He waited and waited and waited. But Mommy Seahorse
never came...
Sammy swam into Mommy Seahorse's bedroom to see if she
was still getting ready. But instead, Mommy Seahorse was
sleeping on her sponge, looking very frail.
Sammy realized that his mommy was really ill. He went over
to his mommy's side, kissed her fin, and left her alone to
sleep.
