"The Story of Niobe"

Niobe, a proud mother of fourteen children, brags about them and angers the goddess Leto. Leto's children, Apollo and Artemis, banish Niobe's children, leaving her alone. Niobe seeks Zeus to end her loneliness and is turned into stone.
