In 2012, Simon went on an amazing adventure. They sailed from China to Brazil. He was very excited!!!

One night, there was a terrible storm and Simon's ship hit some rocks and it sunk. Did the explorer survive?

He fell out of the boat and into the rough sea. He swam for 8 hours until he reached a beach. Simon  was scared.

Simon woke up and went for a walk around the island. He didn't see anybody else and she didn't see any land nearby. He was alone on the island.

He was sad and started to cry. Suddenly, He saw a suitcase on the beach. He opened it and saw a spear, matches and a tent.

She used the spear to hunt wild animals and he used the tent to be protected from animals at night and stay warm. Simon used the matches to make a fire so he could cook food.

Simon was  happier on the island and went for the walk on the beach. When he saw some footprints in the sand. He was surprised. 'Who did they belong to?'

Simon followed the footprints and he saw a man and a tent.
