There was once a worm who lived in a house!! He was a green worm!!

His name was wormy!! He was a lot smarter than most worms!!

Wormy was eating an apple. Then he heard a noise!!

Wormy went outside to investigate (To try to find out something) 

But Wormy did not find anybody! Just an acorn that fell from a tree.

Wormy feels alone and he is sad. 

Wormy looks for friends, but he is different from the other worms. They don't understand him or want to be with him. He is super smart and other worms don't live in houses, they live in dirt. 

Wormy goes on an adventure!! To find friends!! To find more worms like him!!

Wormy travels but it starts to get dark!! Wormy needs to be careful!! 

Going out alone can be dangerous, especially at night time because you can't see!! Even worse when far from home!! 

Wormy finds some soft dirt! He puts his face in it and wiggles inside for protection!!

Many worms do this for protection(To be safe) When worms wiggle inside of dirt, it is called burrowing. 

The next morning, Wormy comes out and continues to adventure, but he does not find anyone.
