Posey had a job at a very famous performance company! However, Posey had more ideas and wanted to incoorporate more animals into the show. Posey starts her show and realizes that none of the animals can do ballet!! Read on to find out what happens to Posey and her cast...

Meet Posey, a dog who worked for a famous performance company, "Amazing Animal Acting”. 

    They put on shows of flamingos dancing a beautiful ballet routine that tours all over the world! 

Posey took part in this show as the backstage manager, making sure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes. 

    She loves dancing and performances, so she thought this job was perfect for her. 

    However, this performance company strictly only allowed flamingos to star in their shows because the director, Fred the Fierce Flamingo, thought they were THE most pretty, perfect, and pure animals.

Only flamingos are allowed in my shows!

     Posey had brilliant ideas for new shows with different animals, but she could never express her ideas because the manager only liked to stick to a formal flamingos + ballet routine. 

    It also wasn’t Posey’s place as backstage manager to express ideas for the show.

     Posey thought long and hard about her ideas.

    “I have a great job with something that I’m passionate about, but something just isn’t clicking…”

The Flamingo Ballet

    Posey decided to trust her gut and leave “Amazing Animal Acting” and start her own show! 

    She started auditions.

    There weren’t many participants, but Posey did have a penguin, woodpecker, monkey, elephant, and family of crickets. 

    Now this wasn’t the easiest cast to try to put a show together with.

 Posey thought long and hard about her ideas. 

   Posey thought, “How do I get a penguin, woodpecker, monkey, elephant, and family of crickets to perform in one show all together??” 

Hey want to meet for coffee tomorrow? I need some help with something!

Posey decided to call her friend Peggy the pig.

Hi Peggy! I'm having trouble with my show because none of my dancers can do ballet!

Hi! Well what if they didn't perform a ballet routine...

Good idea!!

She called a suprise meeting at their rehersal spot. Her smile was as bright as the sun as she was excited to share what each animal will be doing in the show.

    She spoke with her fellow performers...

Maybe you can't all do ballet… but who said we have to do ballet? All of you have different talents and assets that I know can work together in harmony!

All the animals cheered “Yayyy!” as the discouragement was lifted off their shoulders. They cheered like kids in a toy store.

    Posey talked to the penguin first. “Penguin, you have a very round back that you can easily slide on, right?” The penguin responded “Yes!” “So what if you try breakdancing? I know you’ve probably never tried it, but I think you would be good at it!”

 The penguin was up for the idea and started practicing more and more, and Penguin finally got the hang of it!
