This book here says:
"Convection is very selective. It only occurs within air
and gas. A heat source must be located at the bottom. It will
move a convection current through the air and gas. The particles at
the bottom will warm up and move faster thus becoming less dense.
This will cause them to rise while the more dense particles at the top
will sink to the bottom. Find the heat source and you will find my gift."
But where will I find this gift? Where? I know! The magical lake!

According to my microscopic vision,
the particles at the top are moving faster and are
warmer than expected. There must be a heat source
at the bottom. The convection current travels in a circle
just like the book said.

You have figured it out.
This is convection because the magical fire
is at the bottom of the lake and it is putting on a convection current. It
is heating the water at the bottom. That water becomes less dense and floats up
while the colder water at the top is more dense and will sink to the bottom.
I am the gift.

Ahhhhh!!!!!!
Wait...this metal shield is
getting warmer. I know! This
book says that metal is a good conductor of heat!
It transfers heat well!
This must be an example of conduction!
According to the book, conduction is the transfer of heat
from fast moving particles to slow moving particles
only when the two matters are touching and without
any movement of the matter. The metal heated directly by
touching the fire is heating my hand, which is directly
touching the metal.

Maybe it would have been
better to have an insulator than
a conductor. Insulators slow the
transfer of heat. I should have
thought this through better.
So the gift of conduction is the
metal shield. The gift of the
conductor is the argent spoon.
The gift of the insulator must be
this...wood log?
