Once there was a girl named Allie and her 

dreams were to become a singer. The 

problem was her parents couldn't afford to 

pay a singing school. She always believed 

that one day her dreams would come true. 

Allie's mom called her for supper. They ate 

chicken and rice.

Allie loved her mom very much. When Allie felt 

sad or worried her mom would always support 

her. Even if Allie argued her mom would make 

her stop the attitude so kindly she didn't even 

know how to describe the love between her 

mom. After supper Allie brushed her teeth, put 

her pajamas, and read a book before going to 

sleep. Her curfew was at 9:30 or earlier 

because of school.

Beep! Beep! Allie's clock woke her up. She took a 

quick bath and changed into her uniform. The dogs 

were still sleeping. Allie's mom made her breakfast 

and then Allie rode the bus. When she walked into 

the classroom Ariana, Allie's best friend, told her 

about the singing auditions. Then Allie jumped in 

excitement and signed herself on the list. When it 

was time for music class Miss. Ryder, the music 

teacher, was looking for the best audition. Miss. 

Ryder called Allie which meant it was her turn.

After Allie sang Listen by Beyonce Ms. Ryder 

put the list on the bulletin board. Allie was 

surprised. She got the audition! Then she 

realized being a singer really wasn't her dream 

but she noticed her life was better than 

anything in this world. She came home and 

explained her life was great just the way it is.
