This is a story that 

happen a long, long 

time ago, where 

Lion Midas was still 

in reign. Lion Midas 

has everything. He 

has a beautiful 

daughter and also a 

wonderful kingdom. 

Unexpectedly, Lion 

Midas has a soft 

spot for flower, and 

he was known to 

have a breath 

taking garden.

One fine day, Lion Midas's 

servant, Mon the Monkey, saw a 

very strange satyr. This 

creature, part human, part goat, 

fell asleep in Lion Midas's 

garden and he is lost. Mon the 

Monkey doesn't know what to 

do, so he report this scene to 

Lion Midas.

Upon arriving at the 

garden, Lion Midas spotted 

the satyr in question. Lion 

Midas immediately 

recognize who they satyr 

is, the creature name is 

Silenus. He is Dionysus's, 

the god of life force, 

teacher. 

After Lion Midas spent thought on 

this case, he decide to bring Silenus 

to Dionysus.

Dionysus is thankful to Lion Midas for bringing 

Silenus home. Because Dionysus is a god, he can 

grants anyone a wish. Therefore, Dionysus ask for 

Lion Midas wish. Lion Midas, of course, has 

something in mind. Considering his position as a 

king he need an unlimited resources of wealth. His 

wish is to make anything he touch gold.

Dionysus is wise, so he knows that Lion Midas's 

wish will not bring Lion Midas happiness

Dionysus asks Lion Midas, "Are you sure?"

Lion Midas reply, "Of course I am," excitingly.

Dionysus says to Lion Midas, "Suit yourselves." 

It's already time for dinner when 

Lion Midas and Mon the Monkey 

arrive. Lion Midas is ready to feast 

on his dinner when suddenly his 

silverware turned into gold. Lion 

Midas is happy with this 

development, but slowly it started 

to irritate him. Everything that he 

touch lose its purpose. Now he 

can't even eat his dinner, because 

his steak has turned into gold.
