Everybody get in the car it’s time to leave.

     It was a normal day for the Matt family. They were flying to Hawaii for spring vacation. When everybody finished packing their bags they got in the car and started to drive to the airport.

    When they got to the airport, they each scanned their tickets to get on the plane, and then they were off.

     The plane started to clime up into the sky, it felt like they were driving up a steep mountain, but after 15 minutes they got to cruising altitude.

     After an hour it started to get dark, a little girl asked her mom how the pilot sees in this darkness.

      Then the sky became pitch black, the little girl felt turbulence, she was very scared.

     Then she screamed! The nose of the plane started to dip, and the plane started to fall rapidly. She saw that both engines were on fire.

     She closed her eyes and braced for impact as the plane fell.  The passengers screamed, and the girl opened her eyes for the last time as she looked out the window. As the plane fell, she saw water under the plane. Then she closed her eyes knowing that she would crash but felt that she would survive.

Where am I?

When the girl woke up, she found herself on a deserted island. She thought that other survivors could be there as well, so she set off on a hunt to try to find them.

    After a few hours of walking she found a camp set up by some other survivors.  Then she ran over to the camp to investigate.

    She then saw someone sleeping in a makeshift shelter, she ran over to take a closer look.
