A Long Time Ago in Norway... 

There were stories of many Aesir gods.

There were gods like                                 mighty and strong.

With his mighty hammer Mjolnir.

There were gods like Loki, clever and devious.

There are even gods like Odin, powered with his staff, wisdom, and crows.

Odin has two main Crows named Hugin and Munin.

These gods helped create the Earth we stand on today.

According to the stories, Earth was called Midgard by the Gods.

There were other types of gods known as Vanir gods as well.

The Vanir had gods like Fryeyr the god of summer.

His sister Freyja is the goddess of fertility and beauty.

The world tree known as Yggdrasil contains the nine realms.

One realm is Muspelheim, known for being hot and dangerous.

Muspelheim is home to fire giants like Surtr.

Nifelheim is the opposite of Muspelheim, known for mist and ice.

Then there is Svartalfheim, home of the Dwarves.

The Dwarves made all the god's weapons like Mjolnir.
