Natalie lived with her family on her grandfather's farm since she was a child. Her life is comfortable and fulfilling, and she feels very happy every day.

Every time Natalie walks into town to play with her friends, she always notices the flowers on the side of the road.

These flowers are so beautiful and dignified, they are like enthusiastic girls showing a smile to everyone passing by.

How Natalie wished that these flowers could always bloom so that she could enjoy them all the time and leave all the troubles and unpleasantness behind.

But one day, something called "war" took away Natalie's good life. She and her mother were forced to leave home and go to strange places.

Natalie followed her mother to a place called "internment camp". The houses here are dilapidated and dirty, but there are many people living in them.

Depressed and alone, Natalie wondered why her mother had brought her to such a place away from friends and family. She doesn't know when she will be able to see the flowers on the roadside again.

"Mommy, I want to go home. I want to play with my friends,  I want to keep looking at the flowers on the roadside"

"Honey, let's stay here for a while, and then we'll go back to find Grandpa and friends. You can also grow flowers yourself."
