Angelica was a 10 years old girl who loved to spend her time playing games and using technology.  However, one day she began to get bored of always being on her phone or tablet.

 I'm so bored.  I wish there was something else to do.

Well, Angelica, when I was your age, we didn't have all these fancy gadgets.  We had to find other ways to have fun.

Really?  What did you do?

Oh, we play games like hopscotch, jump rope, and hide and seek.  We also loved making crafts like paper dolls and origami.

Can you teach me how to play those games?  They sound so much fun!

Of course I can!  Let's start with the hopscotch.

angelica's grandmother showed her how to draw a hopscotch on the pavement with chalk.  They took turns hopping on one foot and picking up a stone while reciting the numbers.  Angelica found it challenging but enjoyable.
