    This book was written for William Kenneth VanFosson. You are very
     loved sweet boy. I cannot wait to meet you and give you lots of hugs
     and kisses! You have a lot of wonderful people in your life that love
     you and your mommy and daddy very much. The story of how your
     parents met really is how it happened. The story of how they
     discovered your sweet existence, however, is not exactly what took place.
     But the surprise and the joy that you have brought to everyone is
     absolutely real. I hope you enjoy reading this book

This is the story of a baby
named William.

I don't know about you, but I love stories of joy and surprises.
   I share them with others whenever the opportunity arises.
          This story I will tell you is about a family of three.
            It is all about how this special family came to be!

               It all started with one guy and one gal
          Who decided to go out one night with a pal.
    They just so happened to go to the very same place.
The gal pointed at the guy and said, "I have seen that face!"

        The two got to talking and played a game of pool.
During this time they discovered they were both pretty cool!
       They made plans to get together the very next day.
       And a relationship grew from just one simple "hey".

         One day the woman said, "I do not feel quite right."
                      This gave the man quite a fright!
             Off to the doctor they agreed they should go.
There they could make sure she was healthy from head to toe.

         The doctor said, "There will be no singing the blues."
            "For today I will give you the greatest of news!"
             Then he announced, "You are one healthy lady!"
After a short pause he smiled and added, "And so is your baby!"

"Baby!?" Gasped the two.
It was obvious that neither knew.
The woman's eyes grew big as she squeezed the man's hand tightly.
But he wore the biggest smile as he whispered into her ear quietly.

BABY?!

    "This is wonderful news my dear." He softly said.
          He then gently kissed her sweet little head.
        "I see the slight fear showing from your eyes,
but remember, the greatest blessings are often a surprise."          It took no time at all for them both to fall in love.
It was so very obvious that this little baby was a special gift
                                         from above!

As time went by the little woman's belly grew,
and grew, and grew.

Until one day.........
out popped YOU!

              Friends and family all gathered around.
      And no cuter baby could any of them have found.
   The brand new parents beamed with oh so much joy!
For they had waited so long to meet their sweet baby boy.

They both agreed you were one in a million.
And their hearts were overjoyed to call you their William.

Dear William, you are the best surprise a parent could ask for.
   We hope you grow up to do great things, but your dad says
      preferably a Marine. :) The best advice we have for you
is to follow God, take risks, be adventurous, and go big in life!
