I woke up on Saturday morning feeling sad. I was tired and just didn't want to go to work that day.

I got out of bed and went into work anyway. I was standing around not doing much because we just were not busy. But then something crazy happened!

I looked at the front door and saw someone I was not expecting to see!

At first I recognized the shirt. Then I did a double take. It was my Daddy! My Daddy was standing at the front door!!

I hadn't seen my Daddy in almost a month! This was a huge surprise! And then coming in the door behind him was my Mama! Wow! This was an even better surprise now!

I ran up to them with tears in my eyes asking them what they were doing there. They live two hours away from me. Why were they here?

My parents explained that they missed me and thought it would be a great time to come for a surprise visit. Boy were they right! I needed to see them!

They sat down and we ate together. My parents decided to go explore Rock Hill while I finished my shift at work.
