Once upon a time, in a quaint village nestled near a mysterious forest, there lived a curious and adventurous girl named Emma. Emma had a heart full of wonder and a spirit eager for exploration. One sunny morning, she decided to venture into the forest's depths, where rumors spoke of a magical maze, hidden away from the world.

With her backpack filled with snacks, a trusty map, and a flashlight, Emma embarked on her adventure. As she ventured deeper into the forest, the trees grew taller, and the path more twisted. Soon, she found herself standing at the entrance of the fabled maze.

The maze was a labyrinth of towering hedges, their leaves glistening with an otherworldly glow. Emma hesitated at the entrance but couldn't resist the urge to explore. She entered the maze, her heart pounding with excitement.

As she navigated the maze's winding corridors, Emma felt a presence behind her. Turning around, she saw a small, brown creature with pointy ears and big, curious eyes. It was a goblin, but unlike the tales told by villagers, this goblin didn't look menacing at all. "Hello there," said the goblin in a friendly voice. "I'm Gobble. Are you lost, too?" Emma, startled and wary, took a step back. "You're a goblin! Stay away from me!" Gobble, looking dejected, tried to explain, "I'm not like the goblins in the stories. I just want to be your friend and help you find your way out of this maze."

But Emma, still frightened by the goblin's appearance and her own imagination, turned and ran deeper into the maze, leaving Gobble behind. As Emma ran through the maze's twisting passages, she realized that she was truly lost. The hedges seemed to close in around her, and she couldn't find her way back to the entrance. Panic set in as she wandered aimlessly.

Meanwhile, Gobble, saddened by Emma's reaction, decided to follow her from a distance, hoping to offer his help once more. He knew the maze like the back of his hand, and he could guide her out safely.
