Once upon a time, there lived a unicorn named 

Mia. She always flew up high because she loved 

going up so she could see the things down below. 

One day she saw something that interested her, 

so she flew down.

She landed on the grass. Then she saw a little 

boy. His name was Max. He was looking at a tree. 

There was a bird on the tree. 

"Hi, I am Mia. What are you doing?". The unicorn 

said.

"Hi, I am Max. I am trying to get the magic apple 

for my mother. She is really sick". Max said. "So it 

can cure her".

But the bird was guarding the tree so Max could 

not get the apple. After a while, Max turned to 

the unicorn.

"Do you have magic?" Max asked.

"Yes, I do." Mia said.  

"Can you chase the bird away please?". Max said       

"Yes, I can". The unicorn replied.

Then the Mia pointed her horn at the bird 

and said "Chase bird! Go bird! Fly away!" 

and then   the bird was gone.                                                                                         

"Thank you very much!" Max said, and picked an 

apple and off he went.

Max was planning a surprise for Mia for helping 

him. Three days later, the unicorn saw Max and 

his little brother near a new, lovely and colorful 

stable. 

"Hi, Max!". 

"Hi, Mia!". Max said. "I have something to give 

you". Then Max led Mia to the beautiful stable.

"My mother is getting better. We thank you for 

helping us. This is a present for you". Max said.

"Wow, it is a beautiful stable. I love it. Thank 

you!". Mia said and smiled cheerfully. "I have 

been always wanted a stable". 

"You're very welcome!". Max said.

The following day, Max saw Mia again.

"Hello, Mia!". 

"Hello, Max!". They both said.

"Are you hungry, Mia?"

"Yes, I am." Mia said. 

"Well, there is an apple tree near my house even 

though you can't see it. Do you want to pick some 

apples to eat?". Max asked.

"Of course, I do. Let's go there". Mia said.

Then they walked while talking until they came to 

the apple tree. Max grabbed two apples and they 

ate. When they were done with eating, they said 

goodbye to each other and went home. From then 

on, they will be best friends.
