My friends and I decided to go duck hunting, we woke up before the crack of dawn, bundled up in warm clothes, and headed to our favorite spot near Knoxville, Arkansas. My grandpa owns land right beside the Arkansas River and we all thought it would be a great morning to go duck hunting. 

As the sun began to rise we set out our decoys and camouflaged ourselves in our favorite duck hunting blind as we waited for shooting light. I had a gut feeling that this morning was not going to be great but all my buddies were pumped up. 

The anticipation was high as me and my friends waited for the birds to fly. There was a beautiful sunset forming in the distance and we knew we were about to start shooting. 

Suddenly we heard the unmistakable sounds of wings flapping overhead. A group of mallard ducks were approaching and our hearts raced with excitement we aimed our shotguns and took our first shots. Two ducks fell from the sky and we couldn't help but to celebrate our success. 

Throughout the morning, we had some hits and misses, but the thrill of the hunt kept us going. The sound of quacking filled the air as more ducks flew by, presenting us with challenging shots. We adjusted our aim, trying to lead the ducks just right to ensure a clean shot.
