I was listening to the crackle of the stove behind a burning candle and watching the snow scenery outside. My grandmother suddenly broke the silence and said "Kaan".

There are many varieties, colors and patterns in the world. "It's all beautiful, it's all meaningful," she said, "Do you know what this is?"

Then it occurred to him that Turkish culture was being explained. However, Kaan had not heard that part. Only his teacher said, "This culture is an interesting and friendly culture." He could remember saying. He decided to do detailed research. The first information he learned surprised him. Turks were hospitable and loved tea. It had a climate with four seasons. The people were cheerful. Some parts were urban style, some parts were natural lifestyle. It had 81 provinces and its capital was Ankara. Kaan loved Turkish culture very much. He now agreed with his teacher's thoughts about Turkish culture. He wanted to share this idea with his grandmother. "Grandma, I loved Turkish culture very much. When I grow up, I want to visit this heavenly country." said. Her grandmother said, "Yes, of course, my dear Kaan." said. His eyes were shining. He started to watch the snowfall with the warm and friendly atmosphere of the crackling fire. Each snowflake was like information. And it's like a unique treasure trove of information...

Kaan started to browse through the encyclopedia he took from the top shelf. Encyclopedias allow us to find information on different subjects in a short time.
In the culture and heritage unit of the Social Studies course, he learned that there are many places to visit in our country because many civilizations lived in Turkey. He started flipping through the pages of the encyclopedia to find information about these places.

Kaan wondered what these civilizations that he learned about ate. another book about food cultures caught his eye. he started reading with great excitement.
Turkey's rich culinary culture has evolved through the centuries, shaped by the influences of diverse civilizations. Traders traversing the Silk Road once stepped onto Anatolian soil, leaving behind new flavors. This fusion, culminating at the height of the Ottoman Empire, has crafted an immense culinary heritage. Today, tables overflow with the enticing aromas of kebabs, the exquisite taste of olive oil dishes, and the indulgence of a dessert feast. Turkey's culinary culture, emphasizing sharing and communal dining, creates a warm atmosphere that leaves unforgettable impressions on taste buds.
Kaan the more he thought about these delicious dishes, the hungrier he felt.

Kaan was even more surprised when he learned that not only Turkey but all countries in the world have their own cultures. "Imagine," he said to his mother, "how much I have to learn." If I started researching today, what would I learn about world cultures? Every country has its own culture. When I think about how many countries there are in the world, my excitement increases even more. He immediately started researching.
