Our planet is the Earth. The Earth can do many amazing things. The Earth helped us live and is why we are born. But sometimes we mistreat Earth when it gives to us.

There are three ways the Earth can get polluted: water pollution, land pollution, and air pollution.

Water pollution is caused when people dump garbage onto beaches and in the ocean, even if it may not be done intentionally. Turtles can mistaken garbage bags for jellyfish and eat it. Oil spills can cause many sea animals not to swim.

There is also land pollution, which can happen in many ways. One way is when many people cut down trees. Many animals live in those trees, and also trees need carbon dioxide to survive, which is what we breathe out. Because of that, the air will have more carbon dioxide and there will be much more homeless animals.
