There was a pancake that had been sitting on the ground for years. It was dirty and moldy and had been stepped on many times.
Suddenly a kid came and picked up the pancake. He looked at it and hesitated but ate it. He thought nothing of It and went back to what he was doing.
The pancake that had just been swallowed by the kid went through a long process of digestion.
It went through the pharynx and entered the esophagus. The esophagus transported the pancake into the stomach.

The pancake went into the stomach where it was held and mixed in with acid and enzymes that break down the pancake.

Then the pancake entered the small intestine where the nutrients that the body needed were absorbed.

After the small intestine it goes to the large intestine and it absorbs water and vitamins then sends it to go out of the body.

After the nutrients are absorbed the liver produces bile to the gall bladder and releases It into the small intestine to help us digest.
