Jamie started shaking with fear, his face turned red, he felt his heart beating very fast, he started screaming and ran to his mother's house.

Mom calmed him down, then brought 3 large and very beautifully colored books from the library, one about bees, one about cockroaches and one about bees. Jamie was also afraid of the insects in the books, but he decided to start reading them.

From the book about bees, he found out how important bees are for life on earth, if there were no bees, there would be no plants either.

Impressed by what he found out, he opens the book about spiders, where he learns how important they are because they hunt indoor insects , mosquitoes and flies. Knowing this information, the fear of spiders seems to have disappeared.
He took and read the book about cockroaches, where he learned that some of them are harmful to some plants and also food for birds, but they are not dangerous for humans.
Jamie is happy now that being well informed about bees, spiders and cockroaches the fear is gone. The monster of fear turned into the monster of courage, well done Jamie!

The fear
29th Kindergarten of Serres

Once upon a time there was the black monster. He was a tall and fat little monster, but when he was scared he would curl up and become small. He was afraid of darkness and ghosts.
One day, while picking berries in the forest, he got lost. A wolf approached him and told him it was time to go home because it would be dark soon. But the little monster didn't listen to the wolf's advice and continued his walk in the forest.

Suddenly, in the quiet of the forest, there was a strange noise. He thought it was a ghost. He started running and the sound followed him. Since it was getting dark the monster didn't notice and entered a dark cave. He began to tremble with fear and was about to start crying.

At that moment the wolf appeared in front of him, comforted him and they returned home together. On the way, the wolf explained to the monster that there were no ghosts and the sound he heard was a squirrel looking for food in the forest. Once home, the monster told mom and dad about his adventure; mom advised him the next time he went into the woods to take a flashlight with him. And they lived happily ever after.

who loved playing in
his room with his toys.

One sunny day, as he was building a tower of blocks, the ground started to shake. Sammy's eyes widened with fear, and his tower collapsed with a clatter.
He found a safe spot under the table and started calling out for his mother, who rushed into the room worried for her boy.

Mommy!
Mommy!

It's okay, Sammy," she said, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "It's just an earthquake. The earth needs a dance sometimes too! I am very proud of you, you were so brave and did everything right to protect yourself!"
