                            Habitats

Ground Squirrels don't have one particular place that they live in. They live in the grasslands,forests, deserts and neighborhoods. Look around and you can find a ground squirrel.  They live in holes for protection so that predators can't eat them. They usually dig up backyards, so people call them rodents. 

                                    Food

They eat seeds, insects, and bark from trees. Ground squirrels     ambush to get his/hers food or it chases the food such as insects. Their paws help snatch the food or grab it.  

The paws are really good at gripping food.

                                Adaptations
Its paws help it dig holes for protection and its color helps it camouflage.

                            Predators

This small animal has a lot of big predators. They are coyotes ,foxes, bobcats, and hawks or any kind of bird that likes to eat Ground squirrels. Now like I said for Adaptations they dig holes. And the big animals can't go in the small holes.
