The desert the swamp the rainforest and the forest. Now let me tell you what the habitats are like the rainforest is tropical and wet and hot the desert is hot and dry. The swamp is wet, and the forest is very green.

Food:

Pit vipers eat frogs and lizards and hummingbirds, and small mammals.  The way they catch their food is to ambush then poison. They also have night vision which helps them hunt.

Pit vipers are mostly nocturnal and highly cryptic spending much of their time in trees which makes them difficult to spot.
