The Story
One day, the Creator gave spirits called the Seven Grandfathers the power to protect and watch over the Anishinaabe people. The Grandfathers sent a Messenger down to earth to find someone to share the Anishinaabe values. After looking everywhere, the Messenger found a baby.

The Seven Grandfathers told the Messenger to bring the baby around the Earth for seven years to teach the Anishinaabe way of life. When they returned, the baby was a young boy.
