In dedication to my brother Jerry

The three pirates laughed, "Yohohoho!" Larry, Gary, and Jerry stole a big treasure on a trip. They grabbed drinks, and celebrated on the ship. But something happened while they were distracted.

After the party they looked behind in glee. But, there was no treasure to see. "Oh, no!" they shouted, "the treasure is gone." They did not know where, why, or who, but they needed some money and they needed some soon.

So Larry, Gary, and Jerry set out to sea.
In order to find some shiny new things.

Larry got off the ship to explore.
To maybe find treasure just like before.
He sees a village over and away,
so he starts his journey and makes his way.

Village of Christianity

Larry finds the village between the trees. It was called the Village of Christianity.
He looked around and couldn't find a thing. So he started to head back with nothing to bring. But then, he stepped on a book! So he picked it up and took a look.

Village of Christianity

An old man said, "That book is important, don't play with it." Gary screamed, "You scared me!" "Don't take what is not yours," the man said as he took the book, "stealing makes God upset and that is called a sin." Confused, Gary asked "What is a sin?" The man said, "It is when you do something bad."

Village of Christianity

Gary was confused. The old man sighed, "Doing bad things makes God sad," he said "Let me teach you a rule." The man gave back the book. "You can not take things that belong to others. God doesn't like it, it's against his rules (Elliot)." Breaking rules leads to sins. "The book has the rules, read it." the man said as Gary left.

After talking to the old man. Larry came back with the book in his hand. "What's that book, what's the title?" Gary asked. "I don't know, but it's called the Bible." Larry said as he got on the ship. Taking the book to read on the trip.

Larry, Gary, and Jerry set out to sea.
In order to find some shiny new things.
While Larry sat down to read his new book.

Gary got off the ship to explore.
To maybe find treasure just like before.
He sees a village over and away,
so he starts his journey and makes his way.

Gary finds a village in the mountains,
but it is empty and no treasure in sight.
He saw the mountain top, and saw a treasure with much delight.

Gary took a gold coin from the pot. "Who are you? I haven't seen you before" said a monk. "Oh... I'm just a traveler who came to explore." Gary lied. However, the monk can see greed in Gary's eyes.

"Would you like to join us in meditation." The monk asks. Gary was confused. "Everything about us comes from what we think," says the monk, "our thoughts are like building blocks that make us who we are("BBC")." He says that meditating will help Gary find happiness.

While Gary meditated, He stopped thinking about wanting treasure. He put the gold coin back in the pot. "Greed is 1 of the evils in Buddhism (Lion's Roar), and you have beat it." said the monk proudly. Gary thanked the monk, and headed back to the ship.

Gary returned with no greed in his mind. He was happy there was more than just treasure to find.

Larry, Gary, and Jerry set out to sea.
In order to find some shiny new things.
Larry sat down to read his new book,
and Gary viewed life with a new look.

Jerry got off the ship to explore.
To maybe find treasure just like before.
