One day, Bob was about to go to Church when he saw his friends going to a different Church passing his house. Bob asked his parents "how come my friends don't go to the same Church as me" his parents replied, "it is because there is different religions son".

As bob and his parents leave their house to get ready to walk to church Bob's parents continue to say "there are many religions such as Christianity, Buddhism and Taoism"

As Bob and his parents walk to church, they pass a Buddhist Temple, and his mother explains that this is a Buddhist Temple. She explained "Buddhism is a religion that started from the teachings of the Buddha. Buddhism has played a central role in the spiritual, cultural, and social life of Asia, and, beginning in the 20th century, it spread to the West. (Nakamura and Kitagawa).

The mother continued and said "Buddhism has many aspects which means the belief system of a religion however one aspect is mindfulness which is paying close attention to what's happening in the present moment which includes dropping the habit of judging things whether we like it or not. Later Bob and his family continue to walk to Church and see a Taoist Temple, Bob's dad explains "this is a Taoist Temple where people make offerings, meditate, and perform other rituals. Taoism or Daoism is a religion and philosophy that has shaped Chinese life for more than 2,000 years (Seidel and Ames). Taoism has been connected to the philosopher Lao Tzu, who around 500 B.C.E. wrote the main book of Taoism, named the Tao Te Ching (National Geographic Society).

The dad continues to say "just like Buddhism Taoism has many aspects too however one of them is Wu Wei which is the most important concept which translates to "non-doing' or "non-action" which means letting stuff happen naturally and not force things to happen which has similarities to the goal in Buddhism of non-clinging to the idea of an individuals selfishness. As Bob and his parents arrived at church his mother explained to him "This is a church where people read the Bible, sing songs and pray to God. Christianity is a major important religion that began with the life in the 1st century which has now became one of the largest religions having more than 2 million believers
