On December 30, 1984 a legend was born. Little did this boy know, he would grow up to become an NBA superstar. This young man's name was, Lebron James.
As time passed by he developed a love for basketball and chased his dream of basketball into his high school years. Many different T.V. shows and reporters came to watch his games and labeled Lebron as the future king of the NBA.

Lebron was drafted to the NBA in 2003 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He would carry the team on his back to later on win 3 championships on his own. Lebron was cocky as can be this year as he went against the Golden State Warriors in the final game. As he takes the game winning shot against the Warriors it gets blocked by Stephen Curry, which makes his team fall short of by 1 point.

As the timer runs down to it's final second, the audience watches in dismay of how someone so small and short can block Lebron James. After the game, Lebron and his coach were crying because Lebron knew it would be his last year in the Cavaliers. In the post game interview, Lebron told interviewers, "I still don't know how he even blocked me."

Lebron took a break from basketball and decided to go on a journey of self-redemption. Which he would soon find out, that this would be the best choice he made in his entire career.

Lebron was on a dirt road and spotted an old man who was struggling to walk, using his cane to push himself every step. Lebron being, "The King", and the kind soul he is, aided the elderly man across the street where it was revealed that the man was a Christian pastor, he invited Lebron to practice his compassion in the Church where, "The King", was one step closer to achieving greatness. The Christian Pastor explained to Lebron that, "Jesus had compassion towards others and was forgiving regardless of their actions." Lebron was enlightened and took it to heart and learns the trait of compassion.(“What the Bible Can Teach Us about Compassion.”)

On Lebron's long journey, he encountered a Buddhist monk who needed some money to catch the bus. With practices from the Christian monk he was able to become more compassionate which abled him to donate some money to this Buddhist monk. The Buddhist monk appreciated the gesture and invited Lebron to his temple and told him, "At the temple, we practice inner peace and to find oneself." Lebron responded, "How can I find inner peace with nothing going on?" The monk replied with silence and meditated, soon enough Lebron followed and soon found what the monk meant by inner peace.
