Once upon a time, there was a boy in a town who is named Jack. Jack was a weak and weird kid, but also a smart guy. He didn't have any friends because of his weirdness but that didn't stop him from having fun and living a happy life.

One day, Jack was walking down a road when all of a sudden, a bully named William, decided to make fun of Jack and knocked him onto the floor, which badly hurt him. After this, Jack was angry at William's bullying and decided to go on an adventure and try to gain more wisdom in order to defeat William once and for all.

Haha loser! You're so weak!

Jack first went into the forest in his adventure. After a while, He found an old man living in the forest. The old man seemed to be resting on a rock near a river. Jack approached the old man and asked "What are you doing?" "Nothing much," said the old man. "I was just meditating, what brings you to this place young man?" Jack explained to the old man about how he was bullied by William and that he wants more wisdom to defeat him. "Ah, I see," the old man responded. "Perhaps I can teach you some ways to help you. Come inside my house." Jack, who was eager to learn from the old man, accepted his offer and went into the house.

"In Taoism, There is this idea called Wu Wei," the old man explained. "The idea of Wu Wei is doing things more effortlessly by letting things happen the way they are," (Joppich). "But that sounds like being lazy," Jack replied. "It may look like being lazy but it's actually not. You let go of your expectations of things and outcomes and stop going against nature," the old man explained (Joppich). "This can help you feel more confident about yourself even when somebody is making fun of you."

After learning about the old man's teachings of Wu Wei, Jack thanked the old man and went along his way. But before Jack was about to leave, the old man told Jack "If you wish to learn more wisdom, I have a friend named Ali who lives about 1 mile east from where I live. I'll tell him about your arrival if you are interested." Jack, excited by the news, eagerly accepted the old man's offer, and continued on his way to his next stop.

Thank you!
Following the old man's directions, Jack eventually reached his stop. There, a man greeted and welcomed Jack to this place. "Hi there! You must be Jack right? My name is Ali and my friend has told me a lot about you," Ali said. "What's this building?" Jack asked. "Oh this?" Ali responded. "This building is called a 'Mosque' and it's where we do our daily religious practices! Come on in!" Jack, who was a little curious, followed Ali inside the Mosque.

"so Jack, I heard you wanted more wisdom to defeat your bully, is that right?" Ali asked. "Yes sir," Jack replied. "Well I can teach you about some of our main core beliefs!" Ali said excitedly. "In Islam, there is a idea called 'Shahada' and it's basically faith and belief that there is only one God only, and his name is Allah!" Ali stated (Macaulay-Lewis). "We also do 'Salat,' which means prayer, and we do it 5 times a day!" (Smith). Ali then added "If you put your faith in Allah and start praying, maybe Allah will help you out in your goal!"

Jack, who was very amazed by Ali's teachings, thanked Ali for his help and asks him if there is any other place where he could learn more wisdom. "There's a church nearby our place, maybe you can go there as your next stop!" Ali said. Jack then thanks Ali for his help and continues on his journey.

Thank You Ali!
There's a church nearby our place!
After a while, Jack found the church. Outside the church, there was a man who wore a black robe and a cross on his neck. Jack walked up to the man and . "My name is Father Garcias," said the man. "What seems to be troubling you?" Jack responded "I am here to get more knowledge so that I can defeat my bully. Can you teach me about your religion?" The priest, feeling bad for the boy, agreed to help out the boy.

Inside the church, Father Garcia explained "One of our main teachings in Christianity is forgiveness." Father Garcia added "Forgiveness is at the heart of our connection with God and other people, and the creator of Christianity, who is named Jesus Christ, talked a lot about forgiveness" (Raymond). "But how can i forgive someone who hurt me?" asked Jack. "I know that forgiving somebody who hurt you can be very hard, but I believe that you have the courage and strength to do it," Father Garcia said.
