UNIT TEST (Wednesday)

    It all started in math class. At Pennrigde highscool. I'd been aware of an upcoming test next week. “UNIT TEST” in big bold letters on the board.

My teacher was having us do papers to practice for the test.

Before I knew it the test was in 3 days, then 2, then 1

I needed to find a way to avoid this, I wasnt ready. I was too lazy to ask my mom to help me study. Which overall, was the best idea, but I didn't care.

 I went home that day and just decided to be honest. Telling my mom I had a test tomorrow, but I told her at a late enough time that, I couldn't study it was late. I don't know why I felt so lazy that day, I just did

    Having to tell my mom that night at 11 P.m. that I had a test was tough—the look of anger that came from her face, and the sound of it from her voice. I knew if I didn't get a good grade on this. I would be in trouble. 

“Why didn't you study? How long did you know about this?”

I didn't know what to say because I knew about it for a while. 

I just decided to get some rest

Waking up that day, I had forgotten about the previous day's stress. I was not excited about school, and the thought of something crept into the back of my mind, but I couldn't think of it. I got ready fairly quickly and was on my way.

My classes were going by slowly, as they always do. I had gotten to the ninth period and remembered about the test, and now I was super stressed

The bell rang, and I was on my way to math class.

     I walked into the big class with all the desks evenly spread out. The tests on the teacher's desk were stacked in an even pile. I had nothing to do but hope for the best.
