Once upon a time, Layla and Hannah were the best of friends. They did everything together, from playing outside and spending the night at each others houses to sharing secrets. They were inseparable.  But one day, Laylas sharp tongue got her into trouble.

Instead of being supportive , Layla made a thoughtless joke that hurt Hannah deeply.

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon when Hannah came to Layla in tears. She had just had fight with her boyfriend, and she needed comfort from her best friend.

Layla didn't realize the impact of her words at first. She tried to brush off Hannah's feelings by saying she was just trying to make her laugh. But as she saw the pain in Hannah's eyes, she knew had crossed a line.

"Why would you say that, Layla?" I trusted you, but you made fun of me. I thought you were different."

I just wanted to make you laugh...

Days passed, and Layla couldn't shake the guilt of hurting her bestfriend. She finally mustered up that courage to apologize sincerely to Hannah.

They agreed to meet at the park as Hannah was willing to listen to Layla's apology.
