We had the whole day planned out, our family was 

taking a vacation to Worldsof Fun in Kansas City, 

Missouri. My parents, sister and I were all excited to 

go because this would be the first time as a family we 

would have gone to an amusement park. I was kind of 

nervous and scared because there were so many 

people and i could get lost very easy. Once we got 

inside my dad assured me that we will stay together 

the whole time and that I had nothing to worry about. 

This comforted me a bit but I still was nervous about 

riding all these tall scary rides. 

The first ride we went on was called the Fury of the 

Nile. This was a slow moving but fun ride this really got 

us settled into the whole feel of the park and got the 

nerves to go away. I am glad that this was the first ride 

we went on because I was very nervous about the day 

and this ride was relaxing while being fun. After we got 

off this ride dad asked me what ride i wanted to go on, 

Since I didn't know any rides we went over to a map of 

the park and I chose the one I thought that most 

people enjoy riding. 

The ride I chose was timber-wolf this is an old wooden 

ride that drops quick and has very fast turns. Leading 

up to the ride was a fairly long line but with the size of 

cars the line moved along quick and before I knew it 

we were about to board the ride. At first the ride 

wasn't going fast or have any sharp turns then all of 

the sudden it drops off roughly 100 ft then around a 

sharp turn and another scary drop. There were many 

more drops and turns like these but I started to enjoy 

the thrill I got from all of them.
